Being curious has always been my motto. Curiosity makes me like a Swiss Army knife, equipped with different ranges of knowledge that I probably rarely used. But the mixture of different perspectives inspired me to make innovative choices at the right time.
A relentless drive to understand the 'why' behind user behaviors fuels my detailed-oriented analysis of user experience challenges. I may not be an expert to understand every area of expertise, but I know how to use design and design thinking, understand scenarios, create a better experience for the user, and have some fun along the way.
Using technologies, design methodologies, sustainable thinking, and research methods to systematically solve problems, and integrate ranges of knowledge and resources to make life easier and brighter is my design goal.
I've had the honor of applying design methods to solve real problems in different fields in different industries. I don't stick to a single specialized design, but prefer to discover the logic behind the design and the problem from a larger dimension. I have been involved in the UX and AI design process for a multinational internet company, worked on a series of designs for a Chinese jewelry startup, branded and promoted a beach bar in my hometown, and designed stage installations for a Korean performance design studio. My designs have always tried to solve real-world problems, focusing on design details, teamwork and productivity. Seeing people benefit from the results of my designs gives me a genuine sense of fulfillment and makes me love this activity even more.
